Examples for PLC-Lab with TIA Portal projects

When PLC-Lab is installed, sample systems are also installed in which the control programme is available as a TIA Portal project. These are stored in the user's documents directory under "PlcLab-Editor\Examples\TIA PORTAL Samples".

Note

A copy of the examples is located in the installation directory in the folder _system/PlcLab-Editor.

In the following, the examples are named, a short description is given and special features are pointed out.

Car belt lift (CarBeltLift_01.plclab)

In the example, a belt lifter is realised which transports car body parts to different levels. The position of the lifter is approached with the help of the automatic positioning of linear movements.

S7-1500: The project is simulated with the PLCSIM-S7-1500 integrated in the TIA Portal.

Parcel sort with linear axises (ParcelSortWithLinearAxises.plclab)

In the example, a parcel sorting system is implemented. Packages arriving on a conveyor belt are distributed to 5 different storage locations. A gripper is used whose X-axis and Y-axis are controlled with the help of the automatic positioning of linear movements.
